I did my part for Live Earth Day. I've started bringing out shopping bags, I recycled my plastic bags today (I always do anyway!haha), I told Anqi to use AZONE foolscap paper cos its environmentally-friendly!. Save the trees!

But I really should cut down on my usage of tissue papers. I use like almost 10 pieces or so a day. And thats just a rough number.

And nope, we dont have to wear green to mark this day! There isnt any point wearing green and yet still using 100 million pieces of tissue paper/ nice A4 paper as rough paper Actions speak more!

Work totally sucks. Its so bad that Kelly and i kept reminding each other how much we've earned so far by the hour. Money is like the ONLY motivation. People there are... shan't comment on that. Sometimes i feel disgusted by myself for being so fake in front of new friends/people - smiling and laughing and what not when i do not feel the least happy. Then ironically, i vent my built-up anger on those who are closest to me, like your family and good friends.

Watched Transformers with kelly and joyce. They sort of forced me into watching it; u know, peer pressure. haha but it proved to a good thing. Initially thought that it isn't my kind of movie at all but as it turned out, i totally love it! In fact, enjoyed it more than pirates of the caribbean 3 which is SO overrated.

Tactless, crude, rude and arrogant people should just die. Seriously.

i was happy to be back in singapore but i do miss the days in taiwan. it was really
an experience to be away from home and parents, with the companion of 3 good friends and not worrying about anything.

i was fascinated with the buildings, recognising some places from the shows tat i've seen on TV. the people are extremely nice and gladly pointed us the directions when we were lost.

i can finally understand why some of my guy friends are so excited about taiwanese girls. indeed, the girls there dress up well. in every 5 girls, 3 are thin and pretty. Cute guys are easily spotted on the streets. joyce got all excited when she spotted this guy who looked like mike he. haha.

it's a pity tat we couldn't visit some of the places on our list, but i guess we'll be going back again..hee.

I think i'm such a LOSER! I need advices from my friends even for the slightest matters. Why am i always so clueless, so dumb and so whatever. I seriously need to be a more useful person. Like other than studying, shopping and enjoying life, what else do i know?

Anyway, work at this cafe is starting soon and i think it doesn't look promising at all. I have difficulties remembering food names, ice cream flavours blah blah. And taking orders from customers can pose as a MAJOR problem especially when u don't exactly know the menu well yourself. And, whats with those damn chiem and complicated names like Vol-au-vont, Paella, Risotto, Capellini, Gnocchi... ARGH! i dont even know how to pronouce them, not to mention what dishes are they exactly. I'm so clueless, as always.

Sometimes you just get overwhelmed by greed and make some ridiculous decisions. Its during times like these that you really need a good friend to knock some sense into you. Thanks to lixian and kelley for making me realise that my decision to juggle 3 jobs is so impossible, so unreasonable and so fool-headed. I guess i should learn to be contented with what i'm given/ what i already have and not to let selfishness and greed get the better of me. After endless considerations, i thought i should just forgo this particular job, even though it has the best to offer. Afterall, life isn't ALL about money right? Whatever happened to responsibilities, promises, friendship, freedom and time.

wheeee! i'm on a post-exam-high. haha i just feel like splurging, playing, partying and everything else that spells F U N! but just when i feel so excited planning out all the activities to be done, my mum came in with my updated bank book and reminded me that my bank account is nearing empty.

its amazing how u spend so much money on clothes, bags, shoes etc but you somehow still feel that you dont have enough of everything. its like u need different stuffs for different occasions say for example bags, a classy clutch bag for partying, a sporty bag for going to the beach, a casual yet chic bag for town. haha! i'm sounding very blonde here but isn't that true? its so tough being a woman.

things that happen today were weird and hilarious if i must say. haha. 1st thing in the morning,i practically jerked up from the bus seat, thinking that i was abt to miss my bus stop. the lady sitting next to me was staring at me like i'm some moron. luckily 198-guy wasn't on board. whew.

then my very interesting lecturer told us that knowledge live between the breasts. hmmm. very deep one.

highlight of the day was when FRED went flying and landed all over the LT's floor. HILARIOUS SHIT!! and our very helpful friend Jonathan actually thought that we dropped our eraser(s) on him. hahahha. is this how we spice up our stressful and monotonous uni life?

you know.. sometimes lecturers can be really funny.. especially those foreign ones..my biochem lecturer was telling us a joke when he actually pronounced the word 'lord' as 'lard'!! elaine and i just can't stop laughing! try changing 'lord of the rings' to 'lard of the rings'. :x and joyce was laughing at me the whole day, pointing out that i always x2 [almost everyday] say tat my stomach feels weird. but it does feels weird wat! kind of bloated.. well you can't blame me rite. i have gastric problem.. so joyce pls sympathise k!

Lab sessions would be made more enjoyable without lab reports that are graded. At least, there wouldnt be any stress. To do lab reports would mean that we must get results. To get results would mean that we musn't screw up the experiment. The slightest/seemingly harmless mistake screws up the entire experiment. Which is scary.

Serious matter aside, you know, I really do suspect that THOSE pple know abt it. THOSE pple seem to be watching us. This just screams danger. Well, sorta. Freakkkyyyyyy. Its time to control.

yay. all our efforts in planning for a 4-day-week paid off! i shall hereby officially declare that TUESDAY=FREEEE DAY!! okay. maybe to some people its not something worth all the joy and excitement since its like the norm to even have a 3-day-week. first week of sch was damn busy..with all the lectures, lab and tuition.. i'm tired everyday.. it seemed tat i'm getting tired very easily and tat's pretty weird coz i have at least 6 hrs of sleep everyday. and now.. i'm down with a sore throat and flu. sucks.

elaine and i were toking over the msn.. discussing how our lives are pathetic.. why we were much happier when we were in jc.. elaine pointed out tat maybe it's because we have too many wants.. and we expect too much.. i guess it's normal that as we get older, we get even more depressed and tired of our lives..

i've started to drink green tea almost everyday.. it's nice and it's a healthy drink. girls.. try it. it helps in dieting.

Its been a good first wk of sch, life's not hectic. yet. It'd be, sooner or later, though. Its horrible when we have lessons till 6pm (ie, today), cos the bus stop opp LT27 (in front of SOC)would be totally packed. And it would be impossible to get up the first two, well at least the first, 95 bus that passes by. It wouldn't even stop, cos it'd too crowded with passengers. Last sem, I dreaded gg home after BioD lec which ended at 6. This sem, same problem.

So today, seeing that the bus stop was so crowded, pple even spilled out of the bus stop, Kelly and I decided to walk all the way to the bus stop outside sch to take 97 which woulkd bring as to Jurong East MRT station. After an eternity, 97 came, but alas, it was filled with passengers all the way to the doorstep we reckon we wouldnt be able to squeeze up the bus.
We then walked all the way back to the SOC 95 bus stop (sigh!). Waited for a good 30 min before a 95 came, but same problem, we couldnt get up the freaking bus. It didnt help tt it was raining. Traffic was congested as well.
Finally we took a cab down to Buona Vista MRT station. And from there, we took the train. It was horrible and pathetic, really.

Anyway, I'm proud of myself (ourselves) for being able to find the sheltered route to LT32 hurhurhur.

i was soo pissed with this damn 187 bus driver this morning. he saw me flagging for it yet he just zoomed pass the bus stop. everyone on board the bus was like staring at me. they must be thinking, she's damnnn suay.

anyway, sometimes i really wonder why girls are willing to subject themselves to shoving, pushing and squeezing during sales. was at the mango sale with baoting yesterday and gosh, the throng of crowd inside was horrendous. heaps of clothes and bags being tossed around and the entire shop was in a mess. yet, everyone present was undetered and was all busily searching, flipping and what not, hoping to find or get a good deal. not surprisingly, i'm one of those stupid girls. hahah. it was soo tiring! i had a hard time firstly, to find something i like, then secondly, to find the correct size and thirdly to queue for the fitting rooms. at the end of the day, we stil found it worthwhile. foolish? hmmmm... maybe. haha.

met up with kelley and lixian after my final paper today and it was good old fun of talking, laughing, photo-taking and eating. the movie The Last Kiss was pretty alright but i wouldn't suggest you watching it if you do not want to lose faith in your other half. haha. sad, but true, people dont't treasure what they have until they lose it one day. i must say i'm guilty of that too.

there are like thousand and one things i want to do now i dont know how to start! shopping shopping shopping, partying, picking up a new sport, exercising, meeting up with sec and jc friends, exploring new places in spore, sentosa, ECP, (err escape theme park?), blah blah blah. i'm starting to think that the one month break is barely enough for me!

Finally got the ole' boring layout changed. Cos finally the exams are over, and finally we are liberated. I smell freedom. HAH. Well, or do we not?

Anw today's trip to Orchard lib to get something nice to read was a wasted one. After spending a long time picking out two nice books, I realised I didnt have my ic with me, nor the library card. And so, didnt manage to borrow my books. Time wasted. Window shopping was futile too, nth caught my fancy. oh sigh.

Bumped into Andy on my way back. And boy oh boy, doesnt he look so different with his dreadlocks taken off. I wouldnt have even recognised him did he not call out to me.

Another thing, I saw the pretty PETMANDA girl today in town again. I always see her in town she is so pretty so beautiful she sweeps me off my feet I'd be so head over heels with her if I were a guy.

I can't believe I'm sucha klutz. I wanted to blog and I couldnt log in at first. Till I realised that I was in blogger-beta. But still, I'm not an air-head. Haha.

Today was another day at S5 Science library in a attempt to mug, coupled with incessant talking, and maybe snacking. I realised we talk alot. ha. Laughed at alot of bim stuff. It wasnt just me though.

After which was dinner at the Japanese place at YIH. I was so hungry yet my meal wasn't all thatfantastic and satisfying cos it was so freaking oily and every slice of beef in the gyu-don came attached with 2 stips of fats. Jiggly cow fats. HA. I felt queasy after eating the gyu-don I should have stuck to the all-time fav Subway.

its the exam period now and even after soo many years of having tests, exams, PSLE, O'levels A'levels blah blah, i cant help but stil feel jittery the night before the paper. the feeling of oh-shit-i-cant-seem-to-remember-a-thing.

i hate exams!

1. Exams make you fat
mugging and snacking seem to come hand in hand and you have no time to exercise.

2. Exams cause aches
butt-aches from all the sitting-down-to-mug, shoulder/back-aches from carrying your overly loaded bag filled with textbooks, headaches from trying to comprehend those stuffs which you think you probably stil wouldnt understand given 5 more years.

My birthday was nice.=)

Lovely sms greetings from my Dad, godparents, and friends. Nice bday hug from my mum first thing in the morning.
The it was off to sch to study. Tell me more. And Iwas so sad cos the two girls didnt wish me or anything and Kelly said she wasn't coming to sch and Elaine said she'd be late so I had to lunch on my own I was so upset!

But it turned out they had a surprise for me and I was really touched! They were so sweet, and Jason as well haha thanks dude and dudettes! And also, everyone else who was part of that lovely little pleasant surprise!
I like the flowers and card truckloads. -))

So it was alot of chocolate cake and photo-taking after tt before lecture, and today's lecture was good haha.
Then, it was back to mugging for Stats again, before binging on Haato's Honey clover camomile. It was a pleasant gift from Zeff as well. Anw, we were so fascinated with the dry ice. How strange and queer. haha.

Then back to the library till night. Came home and had wonderful cheesecake from my family.

Organic chem test was a total wreck, realised that there's org chem practical tmr morning (overdose of chem please), down with fever and flu, have to rush out our SS essay as well as project, tests tests tests and exams. doesnt help that i'm suffering from insomnia for the past 1 week.

I'm so screwed for Chem. I mean, I don't like the subject the least bit and its so hard for me to put in more effort into it. I've sucha lackadaisical attitude towards Chem its bad but I can't help it. Teach me how to love Chem more. And it certianly doesn't help that there's SO MUCH to cover. I feel so ughish now la seriously.

I'm so gonna screw up the test on Mon big time. Everything is so touch-and-go, and the revision is so brief, it doesn't even seem like I'm studying for a test. I realised I have this love-hate/bitter-sweet relationship with the reading area of the Science library. Its not exactly a v nice feeling to keep heading towards that place to study for all the coming tests and all, yet I've to admit that its the only place where I can really concentrate on doing my stuff, despite it being so conducive for sleeping as well. Which brings me to the fact that I THINK I AM ADDICTED TO COFFEE for goodness sake. Not addicted to the taste or whatever cos I really dun think it tastes that good. I mean, it does, when u're drinking it at ur own leisure, but NO WAY does it taste like paradise when u're just gulping it down for the sake of keeping awake. I was dozing off half the time during Stats lec this morning, and Kellt attributed it to the fact that I didn't have a can of coffee with me thats why. Much as I would not like to believe, I secretly suspect its true. THIS IS SO UPSETING. Caffaine stains our teeth. SIGH.

I'm gonna try going caffaine-free tmr wich me luck.

Anw solving Norman's Sudoku puzzle this morning reminded me that I have my sudoku puzzle book somewhere in one of the pigeon holes in the living room. Sudoku is like how nice I rather solve them then study for Chem cos while Sudoku is good for the brain cos its so mind-boggling, Chem drives me nuts. And I'm pretty sure its not only me.

three cheers for kelly. i've finally finished my first stage of chem revision - alkyl halides and aromaticity. BUT i'm now stuck at stereochemistry! argh.. i really really don't understand all the terms.. like understanding enantiomers, R & S configuration, distereomers etc etc are going to help me in understanding my life and the purpose of my life.. ha.

it's going to be another long week. one whole week of organic chem and perhaps i can squeeze in a few hours of revision for biod. , gen physio and SSA project. hmm.. i know it's not easy, but at least there's always good friends whom i can count on. hee. i'm not alone.

i'm currently hooked on this korean drama. the plot is so niiiiccceee lar. i could definitely use some fairytales in my life~

ps: joyce and elaine, we'll try to study hard for organic chem.

kelly and joyce are always full of cranky ideas. i'm secretly looking forward to seeing them in sch tmr. haha!

To joyce : i've dropped my toothbrush into the toilet bowl before. WTH! i'm suppose to put that thing into my mouth.

To kelly : why cant i find THE SHORTS? hmph so jealous. haha. anyway what surpirse? so exciting!

I need to do some serious shopping real soon i realise. i mean, i need soo many things. Like shoes for lab, bag (one will do, i promise), THE SHORTS and tops. endless. can someone just knock some sense into me? i think i have some shopping disorder or whatever u call it.(maybe its the haze. yes, blame the haze. haha)
argh! and organic chem is sucking the life out of me. help!
